Roles and Responsibilities
President:

Represents the association to all students and the University.

Organizes, leads, and attends all meetings.

Prepares and files any reports required.

Maintains contact with the association advisor.

Maintains contact with the HDP department.

Serves as a spokesperson for the association.

Assists all executive officers.
-
Provides follow-up to organizational tasks.
-
Recognized voting member.

Vice President:
-
Assumes the responsibilities of the President in their absence.

Assists President with responsibilities.
-
Recruits new members.
-
Leads all fundraising efforts.
-
Attends all meetings.
-
Performs other duties as directed by the President​.

Recognized voting member.

Secretary:
-
Keeps a record of all the activities of the association.

Notifies all members and prepares agenda for all meetings.
-
Prepares association's calendar of events.
-
Attends all meetings.
-
Performs other duties as directed by the President.

Recognized voting member.

Event Coordinator:
-
Takes the lead in planning all events.
-
Attends all events and makes sure they run smoothly.
-
Performs other duties as directed by the President.

Recognized voting member.
Social Media Coordinator:

Maintains all social media accounts.
-
Builds social media presence for the association.
-
Performs other duties as directed by the President.

Recognized voting member.

General Membership:
General Members must complete one of the following:
-
Attend one meeting and one event per quarter

Attend two events per quarter
-
Attend two meetings per quarter

AS A TEAM:

Work together to come up with ideas for events and how best the HDPSA can serve HDP students.
